Weonyoung Joo is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics, EWHA Womans University, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea, under the supervision of Prof. Il-Chul Moon at Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in August 2020. Before that, he received his M.S. and B.S. in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and also received his B.S. in the Department of Business and Technology Management as a double major, all at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Before joining the EWHA, he worked as a machine learning engineer at Samsung Electronics.
